Welcome to the Chestnut Stables, we are a family run Riding School that was established in the late 1980s. We are located on the outskirts of Kings Lynn.

We aim to provide a high level of tuition for all abilities of rider. Here at the Chestnut Stables, we have a wide range of ponies and horses that enables us to accommodate riders as young as 2 yrs.

We are fully insured and licensed currently hold a 5 star rating issued by the Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk.

Lesson opening hours

Before making a booking, you will need to register. Please note that registrations cannot be completed over the phone.

We do not accept same-day bookings. If you're planning a group booking of 3 or more, please get in touch with us via email at least 7 days in advance. Early notice is greatly appreciated, as we may need to arrange additional staff.

Reservations for two individuals or fewer should be made online, not over the phone.

Currently, there is a waitlist for riders over 78kg. Thank you for your understanding.

Learn 2 Rides course

We offer Children’s, Teen and Adults courses starting from only £198 including safety equipment hire. All courses contain riding sessions and horse/pony care sessions. We have a new intake each Half-Term, The Children’s and Teen courses runs on Saturdays and the adults Tuesday Evenings.
