Volunteers at the Chestnut Stables

All volunteers are required to complete an induction, including our yard policies and procedures, along with some basic training.

Our next volunteer Induction Day will be Sunday 27^th February 2022.  10am – 12noon. Please book on to this via the online booking system. Volunteers must be 18yrs and over.

Volunteers will need to provide a current DBS Certificate. https://www.gov.uk/request-copy-criminal-record

Volunteers are not required to commit to any set hours, but must notify us of their hours in advance, via our online system. This is so we know who we can expect each day, and for how long.

Volunteers must wear suitable clothing for the activity, and weather. This includes sturdy footwear.

Volunteers working on the yard, must provide and wear their own riding hat (PAS 015, VG1). We will provide other PPE, including gloves and Hi-Vis tabards.
